Tree Plantation Campaign 2024, Each School allocate 1 – 5 Marla Space for Tree plantation without compromising play grounds in Schools. These schools may use urban plant techniques. School teachers also encourage the students to plant trees in homes and other suitable places in streets.
With reference to the teller No. SO(ACAD)/SED1SPIMISC/2024, dated 28.03-2024 issued by this office, all district education authorities are hereby directed lo ensure that all teachers and students must have to take pad in the tree plantation campaign.
The following guidelines should be followed. 1. Download the ‘Plant for Pakistan’ app from the Play Store and register each school with the Head teacher’s mobile number. 2. Allocate space for tree plantation (1-5 Marla) in each school without compromising the playgrounds.
3. Encourage students to plant trees at home and other suitable places as well. 4.Preferably use urban tree plantation techniques. 5.Young tree should be cared by the student/Teacher who was planted it and tends to it as well, a cardboard or wooden plaque bearing the child’s name will be affixed to give recognition to the student & teacher for his/her contribution. 6. Create a Google form for each tehsil in the district and collect plantation data on a daily basis.
