A Government Job offer to the Siblings of a Person which died during service or medically unfit from the District Medical board in category A, B or C. After this notification issued on July 24, 2024, The Employees which were medically Unfit or Dead after or on this date not eligible for the Job under 17A rule.
But all those employees which were died and notified before or on July 23, 2024, all sons / Daughters/ Widow are eligible for the direct Job of Clerk or Class-4. They also got the 10 extra marks in all other Jobs. Simply Rule-17-A still exist for those employees which get death notification or Medical Unfit for Job Notification on or before July 23, 2024.
پنجاب حکومت کی جانب سے سترہ – اے رول کو فوری طور پر ایک نوٹیفیکیشن کے ذریعے ختم کر دیا گیا ۔ جس کی وجہ دوران سروس وفات پا جانے والے ملازمین یا دوران سروس میڈیکلی ان فٹ ہو جانے والے ملازمین کے بچوں کو سرکاری ملازمت میں دیا جانے والا کوٹہ فوری ختم کر دیا گیا ہے۔ لیکن اس ضمن اگر اس لیٹر کو بغور پڑھا جاے تو ایک بات واضح ہوتی ہے کہ وہ ملازمین جو چوبیس جولائی یا اس کے بعد فوت ہوں گے یا میڈیکلی ان فٹ قرار دئیے جائیں گے۔ یہ صرف ان کےلئے ہے۔ اس تاریخ یعنی 23 جولا ئی یا اس پہلے وفات پا جانے والے ملازمین یا میڈیکلی ان فٹ قرار دئیے جانے والے ملازمین کے بچے اسی طرح سرکاری ملازمتوں کے حقدار ہیں۔

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974 (VIII of 1974), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to make the following amendment in the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1974, with immediate effect:-AMENDMENT
In the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1974, Rule 17-A shall be omitted.IRFAN AHMAD SANDHU
