Govt. of the Punjab Closed the Double Shift Schools Program across the Punjab due to lack of Funds. Regarding his , a clear and strict instructions forward to all School Heads that no student enrolled in Class 6th and Class 9th. If any head admit / enrolled the Student than he / She personally responsible.

It is to inform you that no funds are being provided by the Govt. of the Punjab for payment of honorarium to the Head Teachers Teachers/ Class IV employees of Double Shift Schools The Govt. of the Punjab School Education Department has launched the initiative of Insaaf Afternoon Schools Program (IASP) across the Punjab as a substitute of double shift schools. You are Therefore, requested to direct all such Heads of Schools to discontinue the double shift program in all such schools and no students will be enrolled in 6th and 9th class for the next academic session.
You are further requested to convey the above said directions to all the Heads of Schools functioning under your wing for strict compliance. In case any Head enrolled the students for the next academic year then he / she will be himself responsible for the consequences. Moreover, submit compliance report to this office within 03 days positively.
