General Election 2024 School Holidays declare in Punjab

Public Holidays announced in all Private and Public schools for General Election 2024 in Punjab. Punjab Provincial Cabinet Government of the Punjab approved the Public Holidays during the Election 2024. All Employees will reach their relevant Returning Office to collection the Election Material on February 7,2028. They will reach their Polling Stations one day before.

School Education Punjab notify the Holidays in all offices and Schools from February 6,2024 to February 9,2024. So all Schools will close from Saturday February 3,2024 in Punjab.

NOTIFICATION

NO.S0 (A-1) 1-31/2008 (P-I): Pursuant to approval of competent authority, all public and private schools across the province shall remain dosed from 6th to 9th February 2024 because of polling stations being established in school premises and teachers performing election duty during General Elections to be held on 8rn February 2024. 2. All Chief Executive Officers (DEA), in Punjab and Heads/ Principals of Public and Private schools are directed to ensure compliance in letter and spirit.

No. & Date Even: A copy is forwarded for information and necessary action to: 1. All the Deputy Commissioners in Punjab. 2. The Director Public Instructions (SE / EE), Punjab. 3. All Heads of Attached Departments/PEIMA/PEF/DREP/Cadet Colleges. 4. The Director (Monitoring). with request to upload the same on official website of School Education Department for general information. 5. All Chief Executive Officers (DEA) in Punjab. 6. PSO to Minister for School Education Department. 7. PS to Secretary, Special Education Department 8. PS to Secretary Literacy it Non-Formal Basic Education Department. 9. PS to Secretary, School Education Department. 10. PS to Special Secretary, School Education Department. 11. PS to Additional Secretary (General), School Education Department. 12. PA to Deputy Secretary (ACAD), School Education Department. 13. Notification file.
