Subject: Request for Exemption of IT Teachers from COVID-19 control Room Duties

With reference to subject noted above.
2. An application lodged by IT Teachers dated 16.9.2020 regarding exemption from duties in COVID-19 Control Room at the office of Deputy Commissioner Chakwal.
3. It is pertinent to mention here that Government of the Punjab, School Education Department letter No. SO(A-I) 1-31/2oo8(P-1) dated 14.09.2020 issue clarification regarding attendance of school staff in all Primary, Elementary, High and Higher Secondary Schools w.e.f. 15-09-2020 (Letter Attached). The attendance of teachers in schools is compulsory and is being monitored online by PMIU too.
4. Therefore, the above mentioned request is hereby forwarded to your good office, for consideration and further necessary action please.
