SUBJECT: DISPLAY OF SERVICE CARDS BEFORE ENTERING INTO PUNJAB CIVIL SECRETARIAT, LAHORE.

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that keeping in view the prevailing security scenario in the country and threat perception to Government property, it has been directed by the competent authority that employees of departments (Clerks, Naib Qasid, Mali, Drivers, Chowkidars, Daily Wagers, Farash & Dispatch Riders) must hang / display their service cards before entering into Punjab Civil Secretariat so that differentiation can be made between the officials and non officials, in order to keep a vigilant eye on unauthorized entrants into the premises of Punjab Civil Secretariat.
2. It is therefore, requested that the above instructions may be complied in letter & spirit.
