Conduct of Sports activities for students in all public schools across Punjab

CONDUCT OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS (BOYS & GIRLS) IN ALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS ACROSS PUNJAB

I am directed to refer to the above captioned subject and convey that the Competent Authority in the School Education Department has directed that sports activities be conducted for students (Boys & Girls) in all public schools across Punjab to promote sports and maintain their physical and mental health.

2. am further directed to say that the following games are scheduled to be conducted at various levels:

Games: Hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket, Volleyball, Athletics, Chess and Football.

3. am also directed to state that for the smooth conduct of the aforesaid sports activities at Tehsil, District, Divisional and Provincial level, the following Committees are hereby notified:

(Conveners of the committees are requested to seek assistance from the District Sports Officers, Tehsil Sports Officers (if any), to conduct sports event/activities).

All the Committees will issue a sports activities calendar starting from the end of September, 2026. All activity calendars at each level will be synced with one another to ensure sports competitions at tehsil, district, division and provincial levels. All schools (Boys & Girls) in your districts will participate in sports activities as per the schedule, with great zeal and devotion.
