Finance Department Government of the Punjab issued the clarification regarding th e30 Percent Social Security Benefit to Contract Employees working under Government of the Punjab in Different Departments. So according to this letter all employees working on Contract , They will get the Social Security Allowance on the Running basic of Current Basic Pay Scales. So Now they the SSB 30% on Basic Pay Scale 2022 implemented on 01.07.2022.

Name Of Allowance : 30% Social Security Benefit in lieu of Pension of the contract employees.
View Point of Finance Department: Attention is drawn towards para-2 of Finance Department’s letter No.FD.PC.2-1/2011 dated 09.03.2016 (copy enclosed). Hence, Social Security Benefit will be admissible @30% of minimum of Pay Scales, 2022 w.e.f. 01.07.2022.
Name Of Allowance : 50% Special Protocol Allowance
View Point of Finance Department: Special Protocol Allowance @50% of initial pay of relevant pay scale was granted vide letter No.S.O.(CAB¬1)12-18/2016 dated 25.05.2018 (copy enclosed). After introduction of Basic Pay Scales, 2022, the said allowance will also be revised @50% of initial pay of Pay Scales, 2022 w.e. f 01.07.2022.
