Upgradation of post of Assistant Librarian from BPS-8 to BPS-11

گورنمنٹ آف دی پنجاب فنانس ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے اکیس جون کو جاری ہونے والے ایک مراسلہ نوٹیفیکیشن کے ذریعے اسسٹنٹ لائبریرین کی پوسٹ کو بینادی سکیل 8 سے اپ گریڈ کر کے 11 کر دیا ہے ۔ لیکن اس کے لئے لائبریرین کا سرٹیفیکٹ ہو نا لازمی ہے۔ یہ نوٹیفیکیشن تین جون دو صد اکیس سے نافذالعمل ہو گا۔ اس اپگریڈیشن کے ذریعے ترقی پانے والا ملازم اسی پوسٹ پر کام کرتا رہے گا۔

امان اللہ ڈپٹی سیکرٹری کی جانب سے جاری ہونے والے اس لیٹر کے بعد تمام ملازمین جو اسسٹنٹ لائبریرین کے طور پر کام کر رہے تھے ان میں ایک خوشی کی لہر دوڑ گئی۔ اور انہوں نے اپنے اپنے محکمہ جات میں شکرانہ کے نوافل ادا کئے۔

Subject: UP-GRADATION OF THE POST OF ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN

I am directed to state that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to up-grade the post of Assistant Librarian, having prescribed qualification of Intermediate with Certificate in Library Science from BS. 8 to BS-11, in relaxation of ban on up-gradation of posts, w.e.f 03.06.2021. 2. The incumbents of the upgraded posts will also stand upgraded and their pay will be fixed at the stage next above their basic pay in their lower pay scales w.e.f 03.06.2021. No premature increment is admissible on up-gradation of posts in terms of policy of Punjab Government.

The expenditure incurred on the above up-gradation of posts shall be borne by the respective Administrative Departments/Attached Departments No supplementary grant will be issued in this regard.
