Correct spelling of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him

NOTIFICATION

No. F.1(1)/AD(IsI)/2015. It was notified vide Gazette Notification No. 2(10) / ADO (R&R) /78, dated 26^th March, 1979, 12^th March, 1985 29^th June 2004 and 24^th September, 2008 for general information and guidance that the correct spelling of the name of the Holy Prophet of Islam (Peace Be Upon Him) should always be written in all official and non-official record as “Muhammad”.

2. However, the same is again notified for the general information and guidance that the spellings of the Holy Prophet’s name other than those shown above or in the abbreviated forms should never be used.
