Subject: Monitoring of SED, PEIMA and PEF Schools by AEOs through the Integrated Unified Monitoring App

It is to inform that the Integrated Unified Monitoring App has been launched with effect from 02nd November, 2026, and all schools working under the School Education Department (SED), the Punjab Education Initiatives Management Authority (PEIMA) and the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), including both outsourced and private schools functioning under PEF, shall henceforth be included in the monitoring system.

2. In partial modification of the earlier instructions of this office regarding the monitoring app and the frequency of visits, the competent authority has been pleased to decide that, with immediate effect, each AEO shall monitor the above schools within his/her Markaz through the integrated Unified Monitoring App, as under:
  1. Each school of the Markaz shall be visited at least once a month, with a minimum of one (01) school on each working day. Where required to complete this round, more than one school shall be monitored on the same day.
  2. Where working days remain available after the first round, any school shall be visited a second time to ensure quality education and optimal use of the AEO’s time.
  3. Only visits recorded through the App shall be counted.
3. AEOs’ reports through the App shall be treated as the DEAs’ information on monitoring of schools, and monitoring by MEAs as Third-Party Validation (TPV). District rankings shall be based strictly on visits recorded through the App and performance against the notified indicators.
4. All other instructions on the subject shall remain in force. You are directed to disseminate these directions at all levels and ensure strict compliance. Any non-compliance shall entail accountability of the officers concerned.
