STI Hiring 2026-27 in Punjab Schools | School Teacher Interns Fresh Hiring

Subject: HIRING OF SCHOOL TEACHER INTERNS (STIs) UNDER THE STI PROGRAM, 2024

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to request that following the approval of Government of the Punjab regarding the subject under School Teacher Internship (STI) Program, 2024, following actions need to be taken immediately:

i. The services of the already engaged School Teacher Interns may be continued through fresh agreements, with effect from 24.08.2026 to 31.05.2027;

ii. The process for fresh hiring of School Teacher Interns against vacant slots may be initiated as per the Program ibid and in line with the district-wise allocation enclosed herewith.

2. You are, therefore, requested to ensure compliance of the decision of the Government strictly in accordance with the terms, conditions and criteria of the STI Program, 2024, and to submit a compliance report to this Department at the earliest. The matter may be treated as TOP PRIORITY.
