Regularization of Contract employees under Regularization Act 2018 Punjab

The Case has been examined in Regularization wing , S&GAD Punjab in the light of Punjab RegularizationServiceAct 2018 amended in 2019. It is observed that :

1. PUNJAB Regularization service act 2018 was amended in 2019 to facilities the contract employees and broaden to the scope of act to all the contract employees who have continously been serving as such for a period of three years vide notification bearing No. PAP/LEGIS-2(30)/2019/2164 dated: 13-12-2019

2. Section 2(3) of the act ibid provide that “It shall apply to all the persons employed on the contract in department, Who have completed three years of continuous service before or after the commencement of the act.

In view therof, the views contained in para 3 of the above said reference dated 24-10-2022 correct, therefore, case may proceed further into the matter accordingly.
