Grant of Advance Increments to English Teachers by Finance Department
Grant of Advance increments to English Teachers working in Punjab School Education Department resolved after the letter issued by Finance Department Punjab. In this letter Finance Department admit that the Advertisement Published for recruitment of English Teachers in 06.01.1997 was clearly mention the basic requirement of Qualification of B.A / B.Sc. with CT / B.Ed second Division. Which is according to the Punjab School Education Department Recruitment Policy 1987. So the EST English Teachers have the prescribed Qualification are entitle / eligible for the Advance Increments from the declaration of Result of MA / Med.

I am directed to refer to your lotto No 11 FM11)9-2/2020 dated 02 12 2021 on the subject noted above.
2. The case has been examined. Finance Department observes that the basic qualification for the recruitment of EST English teachers was B.A / B.Sc (2′. division) with CT/B.Ed (2nd division) as per Punjab Education Department (School Education) !Recruitment Rules. 1987 amended vide No.SOR-III (S&GAD)1-13/2004 dated 28 07 2004, the same was also reflected in the advertisement for recruitment of English Teacher vide newspaper dated 06.01 1997 Hence, the EST English teachers who have the said qualification are entitled for grant of advance increments of M A /MEd in the fight of Finance Department’s letter bearing No.FD.SR-V 21-47/2012 dated 07.04.2021
