Request for Advice regarding TSP upgradation to Officers BS-16 & above issued 17-09-2020

SUBJECT : REQUEST FOR ADVICE REGARDING TIME SCALE PROMOTION / TIME SCALE PERSONAL UP-GRADATION TO THE OFFICERS (BS-16 AND ABOVE)

I am directed to refer to your letter No. 4016/ Admn-(Male)-4 dated 13.072020 on the subject cited above and to enclose herewith a copy of letter No FD. PC.40-122017(649120) dated 20.08.2020 received from Section Officer (PC). Finance Department containing the following advice regarding time scale promotion / time scale personal up-gradation of the officers (BS-16 and above)
The case has been examined. Administrative Department is advised to withdraw all orders/ advices of time scale promotion issued prior to issuance of Finance Department’s Notification No FD.PC.40- 12/2017 dated 20 12.2019 which are not covered under the Notification ibid. However, recovery of overpayment drawn on account of time scale personal up —gradation may be made as per law/ rules.”
2. I am, further, directed to request you to offer your considered view /comments on this advice of Finance Department and also intimate how many teachers have been granted benefit of time scale promotion / time scale up-gradation within three days positively.
