Government of the Punjab School Education Department announces the opening of a General e-Transfer Round for 2025. The e-transfer process notified by Director Monitoring Rana Abdul Qayyum Khan on today. The teachers transfer process in Punjab continue till October 15, 2025.

When and How submit application for E-transfer on SIS

The e-Transfer round commences on September 22, 2025, for various teacher categories including Open Merit, Awaiting Posting, Promoted, Mutual, and Surplus Teachers.

The schedule outlines dates for application submission, verification, decision by the review committee, and issuance of orders, concluding on October 15, 2025.

All teachers marked as “SURPLUS” on SIS, and those awaiting posting or promoted, are mandated to apply for transfers/adjustments through the e-transfer system, with specific instructions for compliance.

It also emphasizes the need for CEOS (DEAs) to update promoted teacher data and verify teacher profiles and student enrollment on SIS before the round begins.

2. It is to inform that the General e-Transfer round will commence on 22nd September 2025, in pursuance of the approval granted by the competent authority for the categories i.e. Open Merit, Awaiting Posting, Promoted, Mutual & Surplus Teachers, as per the following schedule: –

3. Therefore, all the Chief Executive Officers, District Education Authorities (DEAs) are directed to ensure the following before the opening of this round: –

All the teachers marked as “SURPLUS” on SIS, must apply in this e-transfer round for their further postings/adjustments; otherwise, the system will automatically adjust them in the under-staffed schools. No excuse will be accepted after that.

All the teachers awaiting posting and promoted teachers must apply by giving maximum preferences through SIS for their postings /adjustments, in accordance with Clause 11 (11.1 (viii)) of the e-Transfer Policy, 2024. In case of non-compliance, no pay purpose adjustment will be made for any teacher.

All CEOS (DEAs) are directed to update the data of promoted teachers on SIS before the commencement of this round, as per e-Transfer Policy Clause 7(i).

Mutual transfer will be allowed in this e-Transfer round.

Any teacher who wishes to apply in the upcoming round, must have his/her profile verified on SIS.

Verification of students’ enrollment in schools must be completed before the commencement of this round.

All received requests for correction through CEOs (DEAS) have been made on SIS.

4. All CEOs (DEAs) are further directed to ensure the implementation of the aforementioned directions in true letter and spirit and disseminatet at all levels for strict compliance.
