UPDATION/CONSOLIDATION OF GP FUND FROM MANUAL TO SAP SYSTEM in Punjab

Subject: UPDATION/CONSOLIDATION OF GP FUND FROM MANUAL TO SAP SYSTEM.

Kindly refer to the CGAs letter no. D.O. No.107/CGA/FM&E/S-11/Misc. /2024-25 (P.F), dated: August 15, 2025and enclosed herewith a copy of letter issued by this office addressed to all the secretaries vide letter No. G.P. Fund Updation Cell/HM102, dated: 04.08.2025 on the subject captioned above.

2. It is worth mentioning that this office has taken an initiative regarding subject matter since 2021, resultantly this office has achieved a progressive target and updated the GP Fund balances of almost 85% of active employees over the Punjab, however, it has been observed that the GP Fund balances of employees who remained on deputation, availed LFP, or their GP Fund was manually deducted made by entities/autonomous bodies or remained on contract basis has not updated which require to be updated in order to facilitate the subscribers at the time of their retirement for withdrawal of GP Fund balances.

3. To resolve the subject matter, this office has introduced a GP Fund Updation Cell only for coordinating the activity across the province, deployed dedicated staff in DAOs and concerned sections of Main Office and also monitor the task with time-bound targets. For the said purpose, this office has requested to all secretaries, PAOs and DDOs to coordinate with this office/DAOs in order to provide requisite data/record of employees working under your kind control but no positive and active response has been observed, which causes difficulty in accomplishing the task.

4. In view of above facts, it is requested to direct all the head of departments of subordinate offices to nominate the focal person from their respective departments and intimate his/her name, designation and contact number, in order to coordinate with this office/ DAOs in supporting to provide the missing record of employees. The list of remaining employees whose manual required to be updated or having missing credits in their GP Fund accounts is enclosed herewith for kind information and necessary action at your end.

5. Furthermore, a necessary direction may be issued to all secretaries/subordinate offices across Punjab to ensure positive cooperation with this office/DAOs, as the said task could not be achieved/accomplished without their support and positive response especially by the autonomous bodies whose employees remained posted on deputation.

Emphasis on Cooperation: Secretaries and subordinate offices across Punjab, particularly autonomous bodies, are urged to ensure positive cooperation for the successful completion of this crucial task.
