NOMINATION OF TEACHERS FOR LEARNING CAMPS ON FLN DURING SUMMER VACATIONS 2023
PMIU-PESRP is implementing Transformation in Access, Learning, Equity, and Education Management (TALEEM) programme. wherein, sub-component 1.2 “Extending the Formal Schooling to Unserved” relates to designing and operationalization of 3-months learning camps for at-risk enrolled and primary age out of school children In 1,954 shortlisted schools in five (05) selected districts of Bahawalpur. Dem Ghazi Khan, Rahim Yar Khan. Muzaffargarh, and Mianwali.
After detailed deliberations, the sub-committee tasked by the School Education Department to finalize various contours of this component has recommended setting up these learning camps during this year’s Summer Vacations (June – August 2023). A reinforce foundational SLO’s as a catch-up Program to address the grave issue of poor learning outcomes of students.
2. As per the final recommendations, these learning camps will be held from 7 am – 9:30 am for 5 days (Monday – Friday) a week during the summer break, with the designated Teachers for each of the 1,954 camps. The designated teachers will be paid monthly remuneration for the duration of these learning camps. For the stated activity, guidelines are attached as Ann. A.
