SUBJECT: EXAM EMERGENCY PLAN FOR PREPARATION OF STUDENTS GOING TO
BE APPEARED IN MATRIC & INTER ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS 2023
Reference is made to the letter No. SO (SE)MISC/2022 dated 3rd December, 2022 issued by the School Education Department, South Punjab, Multan regarding exam emergency from December 5, 2022 for preparation of student appearing in secondary and higher secondary school certificate annual exam 2023.
December (Diagnostic) Test
You are directed to devise plan for conduct of December (Diagnostic) Test 2022 in line with date sheet attached.
1. Preparation of Question Papers by competent paper setters.
A. Selection and designing of District wise committees of experts/ paper setters (four) for each subject separately. (9th, 10th, 11th & 12th).
B. Ensure CEO’s / DEO’ s (SE) to notify the committees Expert/ Paper Setters (four paper setters 9th, 10th 11th & first Year , 2nd Year for each subject.
2. Papers shall start from 10 December (Saturday) 2022 to 20 December 2022 at 9:00 a.m.
3. Paper marking shall be completed till 22 December 2022.
4. Re-marking / Re-checking of papers by Head Teacher be ensured.
5. Mistakes/ Weak points shall be discussed with subject teachers and weak area be defined then remedial measures will be taken. During winter vacations the students will make their efforts to be more focused on weak areas/ subjects.
6. Students profile shall be prepared by the subject teachers. He will focus on these areas and take immediate remedial measures to overcome weak areas. The result cards be issued on 6th January 2023.
7. PTM will be conducted on 10.01.2023.
8. December Test record will be kept intact and shall be scrutinized during field visits by DPI (SE)/(EE), South Punjab, Divisional Directors, Additional Directors, CEOs (DEAs), DEOs (SE), DEOs (EE-M/W).
Assessment Plan from January to March 2023
You are directed to follow the plan from January 2023 to march 2023 regarding exam emergency for preparation of students appearing in secondary and higher secondary school certificate annual exam 2023;
1. After the diagnostic test, Remedial steps for the weak students should be taken in the first two weeks of January 2023.
2. Daily test system must be started subject wise in all schools.
A. First round should be conducted chapter wise in Month of January,2023.
B. Second round should be conducted on the basis of Quarterly syllabus in the Month of February,2023.
C. The first mock test will be conducted from first March, 2023 and second mock test will be conducted from 17th March, 2023.
3. Ensure the revision of all subjects regularly.
4. Zero Period/ extra time after school timing must be given in all School.
5. Results of all tests shall be monitored properly by the Head Teacher.
6. Examination process should be completed before BISE annual examinations 2023 and student profiles of all types should be prepared from all angles.
7. Record (Marked Answer sheets, Award lists, Monthly progress report) must be kept by Class In-charge/ Head Teacher for checking purpose during field visits by higher authorities.
