School-Wise Utility Bills Report Punjab: October 2026 Update
The Directorate of Public Instruction (Elementary Education), Punjab, has issued an official notification regarding the submission of school-wise utility bills and Non-Salary Budget (NSB) receipts for the first quarter of the financial year 2026–27. According to the notification dated 14 October 2026, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of District Education Authorities (DEAs) in Punjab have been directed to compile school-wise electricity bills, Sui Gas expenses, water charges, other utility expenditures, and NSB funds received for July, August, and September 2026. The required information must be prepared in MS Excel format, accompanied by a signed report and a one-page summary of all schools in the district, and submitted to the Directorate by 20 October 2026. This notification is important for Punjab school heads, education department officials, and district education authorities responsible for school budget management, utility expenditure reporting, and NSB fund records. I am directed to request you to furnish school-wise information regarding utility bills for July, August and September 2026, along with NSB funds received during the first quarter of FY 2026-27, on the enclosed proforma.
The consolidated information shall include the school’s name, EMIS code, monthly bill amounts paid for electricity, Sui Gas and other utilities (if any), including water, and the amount of NSB received during the 1 quarter, 2026-27. The exercise aims to assess utility expenditure against the funds available to schools.
You are hereby directed to ensure that the information is complete and consolidated school-wise, in MS Excel format, along with a duly signed letter by you, be furnished to this Directorate within six days of receipt of this letter, i.e. till 20.10.2026. (Enclosure: Prescribed proforma) & one-page summary of your whole Schools of your District. This may be treated as Top Priority & Most Urgent.
