PCTB Approved Agriculture Sciences Tech Group | Class 9 & 10 Scheme
The New Approved Scheme of Studies for Matric-Tech Agriculture Sciences Group 2026-27 has been approved by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB), Government of the Punjab. This new technical education programme introduces an agriculture-focused study pathway for students of Class 9 and Class 10, providing a structured combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The approved Matric-Tech Agriculture Sciences Scheme explains the subject-wise marks distribution, theory and practical examination weightage, and allocation of weekly teaching periods for both academic years. Students, teachers, parents and school administrators can explore the complete Matric-Tech subject structure and understand how theory and practical marks are distributed across the two-year matriculation programme. The introduction of specialised technical study groups, including Agriculture Sciences Tech Group and Health Sciences Tech Group, represents an important development in technical and skills-based education in Punjab.
No. M-49-03/PCTB/2025: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 9(3)(c) of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board Act, 2015 and in pursuance of the decision taken in 122nd meeting of the ‘BOARD’ held on 26.12.2024, the Schemes of Studies for the Groups of Matric-Tech in Health Sciences (Annex-A), Agriculture Sciences (Annex-B) and Fashion Designing (Annex-C) for Grades IX-X are hereby notified for implementation in due course.
