Punjab Teachers E-Transfer 2026 under Hardship Category: The School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced the opening of e-Transfers for teachers under the hardship category. According to the notification dated 23rd September 2026, eligible teachers can submit their online applications through the SIS Portal from 28.09.2026 to 08.10.2026. The schedule also includes recommendations by the District Hardship Committee (DHC), representations before the Divisional Grievances Redressal Committee (DGRC), departmental processing and issuance of QR-coded transfer/posting orders.

OPENING OF E-TRANSFERS REGARDING HARDSHIP CATEGORY
I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to intimate that the Competent Authority has approved the opening of e-Transfers regarding hardship category (Divorced/ Widow/ Khula, Differently abled, Medical, Wedlock, Circumstantial Single parent, Transfer of female teacher upon marriage, as per clause 10.3(vii) of e-Transfer Policy, 2024 as amended from time to time. Moreover, all transfer orders on hardship grounds will be issued through the SIS portal throughout the year. All CEOs (DEAs), in Punjab are hereby directed to follow the given time-line:

2. I am further directed to state that after approval of Departmental Hardship Committee, all transfer/posting QR coded orders on hardship grounds will be issued on SIS Portal w.e.f 29.11.2026 to 30.11.2026. An aggrieved teacher may file an appeal before the Special Secretary (Operations) School Education Department against the decision of Departmental Hardship Committee within seven days from the issuance of transfer order.
