NOTIFICATION
NO.SO (ACAD-I)1-31/2025. Pursuant to approval of the Competent Authority, it is hereby notified that all Public & Private Schools across Punjab shall remain from Monday to Friday w.e.f. 24.08.2026.
2. It is further notified that school timings (opening & closing hours) in public schools shall be observed w.e.f 24.08.2026 to 15.10.2026 as follows:

| Monday to Thursday | 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm (Evening shift) |

| Friday | 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm (Evening shift) |
All Chief Executive Officers (DEA) in Punjab shall ensure compliance with the directions in letter & spirit.
Note: Chief Executive Officers (DEA) concerned may adjust the 15-minute gap in the opening and closing time of girls schools in the district as per convenience.
