Revised Criteria for the Promotion of Grade 5 and 8 Candidates 2015 Exam under PEC

Lahore (Online) Education Department Government of the Punjab revised the notification of Promotion of Students in Grade V and Grade VIII in Punjab Examination Commission on April 20,2015. He directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that the students who appeared in Grade V and Grade VIII PEC Exams 2015 be promoted in the Class Subject to the following criteria.

i. Students of Grade V and Grade VIII who obtained at least 33% marks shall be declared Pass

ii. Students of Grade V and Grade VIII who obtained 25% marks in each Subject Shall be promoted to the next class.

iii. Students of Grade 5 who obtained at least 33% marks in three subjects shall also be provisional promoted to the next class subject to the condition the students will have to pass the fail subject. The Head Teacher of present School may arrange examination during summer vacations and

iv. Students of Grade VIII who obtained at least 33% marks in four subjects shall also be promoted provisional in the next class subject to the condition the students will have to pass the fail subjects. The Head Teacher of present School may arrange examination during summer vacations.

2. He is further directed to request you to proceed accordingly.
