Consequent upon establishment of District Authorities in Punjab and after Transfer of Administrative control and service matters of the MC cadre employees of education and health sectors of erstwhile local government including LC Doctors to the school education department and the Primary and Secondary Health Care department , respectively , in pursuance of the decision taken in the meeting held on 18.07.2017, the health function unit established under the Punjab Local Council Services ( Appointment and Condition of Services ) Rules 1983 is here by declared as dying cadre.
