MATERNITY OR PATERNITY LEAVE AVAIL ANY TIME BEFORE OR AFTER BIRTH OF CHILD

گورنمنٹ آف دی پنجاب فنانس ڈیپارٹمنٹ نےگورنر پنجاب  کے حکم پر  سول سرونٹ قوانین میں  لیو رولز میں ترمیم کی ہے۔

ترمیم :

کوئی بھی خاتون سرکاری ملازم اپنی چھٹیوں میں سے 90 دن کے لئے میٹرنٹی لیومکمل تنخوا ہ کے ساتھ  لے سکتی ہے ۔ یہ چھٹی بچہ پیدا ہونے سے فوری پہلے یا فوری بعد میں لی جا سکتی ہے۔ اس چھٹی کو استعمال کرنے کے بعد ادارہ میں جوائنگ کے لئے کسی بھی قسم کا فٹنس سرٹیفیکٹ درکا رنہ ہے۔

کوئی بھی سرکاری ملازم اپنی مکمل تنخواہ کے ساتھ سات دن کی پیرٹنٹی لیو لے سکتا ہے۔ یہ چھٹی بچہ پیدا ہونے پر یا پیدا ہونے کے بعد لی جا سکتی ہے۔

یاد رہے یہ چھٹی سروس میں صرف دو دفعہ لی جا سکتی ہے۔

NOTIFICATION

No.FD.SR.II-9-107/2012: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act,1974 of 1974), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that in the Revised Leave Rules,1981, the following amendments shall be made:

AMENDMENTS

In the said Rules, in rule 13:

(a) for sub-rule (1), the following shall be substituted:

“(1) A female civil servant may, for the maximum period of ninety days, be granted maternity leave with full pay outside her leave account, at any time, immediately before or after the birth of a child and she shall not be required to provide fitness certificate for purposes of joining duties after such leave.”
and

(b) after sub-rule (7), the following sub-rule (8) shall be Inserted:
“(8) A male civil servant may, for a maximum period of seven days, be granted paternity leave on full pay outside his leave account on or immediately before the birth of his child:

Provided that such leave shall be admissible only for two times during the entire service.”

یاد رہے کہ کوئی بھی سرکاری ملازم خاتون یہ چھٹیاں بچہ پیدا ہونے پر یا پہلے کسی بھی ٹائم پر لے سکتی ہے۔ لیکن بچہ کی پیدائش کا دن ان چھٹیوں میں شامل ہو گا۔ یعنی 90 دن کی چھٹی بچہ کی پیدائش والے دن سے شروع بھی ہو سکتی ہے اور بچی کی پیدائش والے دن پر ختم بھی ہو سکتی ہے ۔ یہ اس خاتون سرکاری ملازم پر منحصر ہے۔ کہ وہ کب ان چھٹیوں کو استعمال کرتی ہے۔

لیکن یہاں ایک اور امر قابل ذکر ہے کہ ان قوانین میں ترمیم کے بعد بچہ کا والد بھی سات دن کے لئے مکمل تنخواہ کے ساتھ چھٹی لے سکتا ہے۔ یہ چھٹی زچہ و بچہ کی کئیر کے لی دی جائے گی۔ یہ چھٹی بھی بچہ کی پیدائش والے دن سے شروع ہو سکتی ہے یا بچہ کی پیدائش والے دن ختم ہو سکتی ہے۔ اس میں زچہ و بچہ کی صحت کو مدنظر رکھا گیا ہے۔
