Subject:INTRODUCTION OF SCIENCE AND ARTS CLUBS IN THE PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS IN THE PUNJAB

For implementing the Chief Minister initiatives a series of meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister for Education in which it was decided to introduce Science and Arts clubs. Resultantly, the minutes of the meeting bearing
No. SO(Trg)/IN/Misc/2017 dated 15-09-2017 were issued by the competent authority.

You are directed to pass orders to all the heads of High and higher
Secondary Schools under your jurisdictions to introduce the Science & Arts Clubs
which will comprise of the following:-
SCIENCE & Arts Club
- A Senior Science teacher as head of the science club.
- A Lab assistant.
- Three well marked and interested students Science.
- The Drawing teacher/ a teacher interested in Arts and Crafts as head
of the Arts & Crafts Club.
- Three well marked and interested students in Arts & Crafts.
Keeping in view of the above you are further directed to nominate
Two teachers from each district One for Science and One for Arts Club to be trained
as a “Master Trainer”.
