2. Connecting Classrooms is the British Council’s global education programme for schools, con-funded by the British council and the UK’s Department for International Development Connecting Classrooms has been running since 2007 in Pakistan, focusing on helping young people to develop the knowledge, skills and values to live and work In a globalised economy. The programme offer training opportunities for head teachers, teachers and through them the students. It also offers the opportunity to share best practice with schools in the UK and more than 180 countries around the world.
3. Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development Punjab in collaboration with
British Council runs this program in public sector to support teachers to develop their classroom practice in core skills, the six essential skills that young people need to prosper in the 21st Century. In Phase I (2015-17) Multan Region participated well and secured leading Awards in the Province, in Phase 11 (2018-19) again South Punjab has shown extra ordinary involvement and achieved fabulous results in submission of their portfolios.
3. In this connection, an orientation session for South Region CEOs (DEA) and QAED
Heads is being arranged at Ramada Hotel Multan on 22-08-2019 from 10:00 tn to 12:30,pm (followed by lunch) where senior representative from British Council will hold h session. Your participation (in person) alongwith QAED Head concerned will be highly obliged before the start of new phase of Connecting Classroom Programm in your district
