Subject : Construction of additional Classrooms in SCHOOLS

It is to inform that under the agreement executed with DFID and Government of the Punjab, DFID provide E 35.00 Million for rehabilitation activities including construction of additional class rooms in the selected schools all over Punjab. Out of the agreed grant amount, the first tranche of E 7 00 million has been released by DFID which will be further transferred to concerned authorities under usual course by the Finance Department. Further release of funds by DFID subject to accomplishment of Targets as agreed with the donors.
In view of the above, it is requested to take all necessary measures to achieve the targets within the stipulate time period.
