AMENDMENT IN APPOINTMENT UNDER RULE 17-A WITHOUT OBSERVANCE OF PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS

Lahore (Web Desk) Service and General Administration Department , Government of the Punjab (Regulations wing) amendment the rules under 17-A complete without procedural requirements.

No.SOR-III(S&GAD)2-02/2012. In exercise of the powers conferred under section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act 1974 (VIII of 1974), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment & Condition of Service ) Rules 1974 the following further amendment  shall be made :

AMENDMENT

the Punjab Civil Servants (Appoint & Condition of Service ) Rules 1974 in Rule 17-A for the second provision , the following shall be substituted.

“Provide further that only one child or widow or wife of an employee who dies during service or is declared invalidated or incapacitated for further service , if otherwise eligible for the post , shall be appointed to a post in BS-1 to BS-11 in the department where the Government servant was serving at the time of death or the declaration , without observance of the procedural requirements prescribed for such appointment.”
