School Timing change due to severe weather in Punjab
Due to severe heat wave across the Punjab today school Education Department change the school timing from May 18,2024. New School Timing in all Public and Private School is 0700am to 1130am daily except Friday. On Friday School Timing is 0700am to 1030am till May,31 2024.
From June 1, 2024, School Education Department announced the Summer Vacation in all Public and Private Schools.
In the wake of severe weather, it is hereby notify that following School timings shall be observed in all Public and Private Schools in the Province of Punjab with effect from 18th May to 31st May, 2024.
Following precautionary measures shall also be taken by heads of schools:
i. All fans should in working condition in schools.
ii. Availability of water coolers shall be ocured.
iii. No student in any school throughout the province is shall be made to sit in open space / lawn of the school during summer time.
Chief Executive Officers (OEM), Heads of institutions are directed to ensure compliance of Itie above in true letter & spirit.
