Adapting of High Schools by Directors where No Principal

Government of the Punjab , School Education Department issued the notification schools are handed over to Divisional Directors and Additional Divisional Directors where post of Principal lying vacant in Punjab. First list of Schools was issued on today and assigned these schools to Directors. The Basic Purpose of adaptation of High Schools to make them child friendly. Here is list which their ensure during their visit.
I. Enrollment of students and maintains the Students Teachers Ratio(STR)
II. Ensure maximum retention of enrolled students
III. Cleanliness / sanitation
IV. White wash/paints
V. Drinking Water
VI. Proper functioning of existing Toilets
VII. Electricity
VIII. Functioning of Computer Labs, Science Labs & Home Economics Labs
IX. Functioning of Libraries
X. Sports and PT Shows
XI. Maintaining of Grassy grounds plots, Play Grounds
XII. Tree Plantation
XIII. Boys Scouts
XIV. Girls Guide
XV. Attendance of Teaching and Teaching staff,
XVI. SMC meetings
XVII. Security Measures
XVIII. Dengue SOPs

1. It is to inform that the High and Higher Secondary Schools functioning without regular Principals be assigned to the Divisional Directors (SE/EE) and Additional Directors (SEAT) for proper functioning of existing facilities as well as improving Child Friendly Atmosphere and also ensuring followings in the assigned schools (Annex-“A” & “B”).

2. It is further informed that Higher Authorities, Secretary School Education, Special Secretary Schools, DPI(SE) Punjab, Lahore and DPI(EE) Punjab Lahore will pay a surprise visits in the district for observing proper functioning of schools.
