SUBJECT: MINUTES OF EDOS (EDU) CONFERENCE

I am directed to convey that EDOs (Edo) Conference has been scheduled to be held on December 29, 2015 (Tuesday) at 9:00 AM at Directorate of Staff Development (DSD), Wandat Colony), Lahore under the Chairmanship of Secretary School Education.

2. 1 am directed to convey you that the following agenda

items will be discussed during the Conference:

• PEC Examination 2016
• Cheating level should be brought down from 5% to less than 1%.

• To Ensure Student Teacher Ratio (40:1) at Markaz, Tehsil and District levels

IV – Ensure 100% Retention of enrolled Students

• Head Teacher, AEO, Dy. DEO, DEO & EDO are responsible for ensuring of 100% Retention of enrolled
• DPI (SE/EE) shall follow up the retention and take necessary action against the EDOs on account of bogus enrollment in the District.

V – Literacy and Numeracy Drive (LND)

• School-wise LND Results
• Markaz-wise LND Results
• Ensure 85% results LND Test
• Action taken against poor performing Schools and Mark,

VI – Quality Drive

• Six Monthly Assessment Conducted by TAMO
• Annual Assessment Conducted by PEC
• Monthly Assessment Conducted by DTEs
• Monthly Assessment Conducted by MEAs

VII – Use of Teacher Guides Schools

VIII – Non-Salary Budget (NSB)

• Ensure releasing of NSB budget to schools
• Hiring of Part time Coaches for reducing overcrowding & multi grade teaching.
• Monitoring of performance of Part time Coaches
• Proper monitoring of NSB.

• Updated progress on Re-Construction of dangerous Buildings of Schools & provision of missing facilities in schools (on prescribed proformas)

XVI. IT Skill through PVTC

• In Ist Phase IT base training through PVTC in 150 IT Labs of High & Higher Secondary Schools

XVII- Enrollment of Out of School Children of Poorest Targeted Families under BISP

Expeditious Disposal of

• In-service Promotion
• Award of uplift & upward mobility to the teachers
• Pension, E&D CASES and Court cases.

3. It is requested to attend the Conference in person on the

above said date, time and venue.
