INCLUSION OF QUESTION ABOUT EXTREMISM, TERRORISM SECTRARIANISM, RESILIENCE, TOLERANCE, PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE, INTER-FAITH HARMONY IN EXAMINATIONS

Lahore (Online) RANA ABDUL QAYYUM KHAN Director CHIEF MINISTER’S MONITORING FORCE School Education Department issued a notification about the INCLUSION OF QUESTION ABOUT EXTREMISM, TERRORISM SECTARIANISM, RESILIENCE, TOLERANCE, PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE, INTER-FAITH HARMONY IN EXAMINATIONS. In pursuance of the National Action Plan and directions of the Chief Minister, Punjab, the Curriculum & Textbook Board, Punjab, has developed Supplementary Reading Material (SRM) to deal with the menace of extremism, intolerance, sectarianism and to promote tolerance, peaceful co-existence, inter-faith harmony etc. This purpose developed material has been made part of the Curriculum and textbooks. It has been provided in all public schools of Punjab. He desired that all Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education in Punjab and Punjab Examination Commission may ensure assessment through Short Questions / MCQs on above mentioned topics in Examinations to be conducted under their respective Boards / PEC.
